India's largest engineering & construction firm Larsen & Toubrou (L&T) won a Rs.5,500 crore contract to build a brand new terminal for international & domestic passangers at Mumbai Airport.The new terminal is likely to be operational by 2012, would handle 40 million passangers annualy as compared to current capacity of 21 million. GV Krishna Reddy said: "Over the years L&T has been associated some of the most prestigious airport modernisation projects in India. We are sure they would help us to give shape to our dream of making a world-class airport"
